Guest Yachtsman1 Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Hi KenHaving not used many of the PTE fades & seeing some others using them I've been experimenting with some I've never used, the circle being one. I used it in my latest Aladdin's Kampro Lamps promo with a slower speed & I thought it was great, however, with the short slide times of Bristol I agree it doesn't look so good. I would still use it and increase the slide times where there are a number of similar slides together, but for this issue to try to keep the show short & a moderate size it's going to stay. The Guy giving the commentary was using some sort of public address system with a tiny speaker just behind my head & away from the camera & a 90hp single cylinder Lister diesel chugging away under his feet, if I'd had more time I would have used my Olympus recorder but on a narrow boat (correct term for the vessel we were on) at 6ft 10 inches wide with 30 odd passengers, they would have thought I was a spy, anyway it was in the car.Well into the Bath show, called "Our Bath Time", having a problem selecting the music, picked a couple of Haydn tracks off Amazon so we'll see how they go, but it's a very busy show, lots of crowds & we didn't even get to the Royal Crescent.Regards EricYachtsman1.
