Your resolution equates to 16-9 aspect ratio. I use 1920 x 1080 pixels slide size for that AR. See http://www.adorama.com/ACMC914LLA.html

The aspect ratio of an iMac 27" is 16:9 I believe.

The maximum screen resolution is 2560 x 1440 so to fill your screen you should create slide shows at 2556x1440 pixels at ratio 16:9

Ron,

Go to Project Options / Screen.

Enter a resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Go to Main.

What does the AR tell you?

DG

P.S. Alternatively, get your calculator out, divide 2560 by 16 and multiply by 9 (or 10).
