LeslieH Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Hello, I am a children's portrait photographer and am all digital and show all of my "proofs" as a slideshow presentation. I have tried one other slideshow software before, Photoshow, but did not like it at all. The compression was so bad on the files that it gave it a watercolor effect. I am in desperate need of finding another slideshow software program and have heard of this but was wondering if someone could convince me as to why I should purchase this one? What does it have that could help me in produce gorgeous slideshow presentations for my clients? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.Leslie Quote
LumenLux Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Welcome Leslie -If you have not already, download a few examples from Beechbrook.com.That will at least show you some of what can be done. Quote
Alan Lyons Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Hi Leslie, As was said examples of work will show you what this programme can do. But it will not show you how easy it is to get to grips with the programme. I think all would agree that this is far and away the most user friendly programme of its type. You also have the free updates for life which no other programme will give. But the best part of all is this forum, which is full of friendly willing experts and novices who are willing to share their ideas, and help all who ask. A brief scan of the forum will show you just how valuable this resorce is,Best of luck,Alan Quote

jinjagoliath Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Once again, Leslie, welcome,I am new to all this AV wizardry, but can completely endorse the above comments. The forum is a great resource and a great place to hang-out and learn. The software is very good too, and it's very easy to become an enthusiast when our contributions and comments are so readily accepted by the developer. I like that PS I'm not on commision, either Enjoy your stay.JG Quote
