I have some music added in Project options. Then I want a period of silence for several slide then add music to a later slide. HOW please

Which version are you using V7.5.10 or V8?

In V8 it is easy to drag the clips into the timeline and then drag them sideways to produce the "gap".

In V7.5.10 you would use Separate tracks and the OFFSET control in Project options / Audio.

I'm not sure in version 8, but previously I would highlight a slide I want silence, go to customise slide, tick the add sound/music but don't add a track. That's what I do for my presentation menu pages.

PS you also had to un/tick synchronise in project options.
