mfetterhoff
Hello FriendsAfter rendering my slideshow to AVI, the opening slide bears the file name at the bottom of the screen for several seconds. This serves to ruin the mood of my piece. How can I remove it from the convert process?Much obliged for any direction here.Mark
Lin Evans
Hi Mark,PicturesToExe doesn't automatically put a file name on an image. If you were experimenting, there is a feature (a template actually) which can be used to make a number of things from the EXIF header of you image appear. My guess is that you have enabled this feature for the image the file name carries. This feature is enabled on the Main Screen via the "Comment" feature and the quickest and easiest way to resolve the problem is to go to the slide list and click on the slide which has the issue. Next go to the Objects and Animations screen and look at the bottom right side for "Text Comment." Delete this by selecting and using the delete key. Save your work and regenerate your video.Best regards,Lin
peter.forum
Hi,I have the same problem, in two separate projects. The filename is displayed on the first slide. There is no template entered in any comment field. Interestingly, it only appears in the mp4 & avi, not the .exe??!How do I eliminate this please? Thanks Peter
davegee
Check the slide in question in Objects and Animation - can you see an Object - "Text Comment"? (on the Right Hand Side)? If so right-click on it and "Remove".DG
Igor
Do you see a filename of an image file on the 1st slide or you see filename of the video file?

peter.forum
Oh, btw, the filename does not appear anywhere until the final video is created. As a test I have manually introduced text onto the first slide using O&A, this all works as normal.
