Joining forum

I am trying to help a newcomer to AV and have suggested the forum . They have purchased PTE. I cannot for the life of me see how to join the forum and I joined so long ago I cannot remember. Somebody please advise.

there is a box for one to sign in - if you are not a member you have to sign in

follow instructions -- that should do it

Your friend should go to www.picturestoexe.com and there will see, in the top right corner the following:

Follow the onscreen instructions to register a userid.

I have had similar experience: You post an answer to a question. Another user does the same, almost at the same time. Now there are two answers that cover the given question. But this is not the end of the story. Some time later, another user comes along, more or less summarizing what has been said. The original poster re-enters the scene, giving his thanks to this last poster. In my particular case I deleted my own post, leaving the message that posting had been a waste of time.
