ddv9612 Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Using windows 8.1 and when I publish the show in HD TV format, the published product (Mp4 file) only has offline availability. When the program is then played on the HD TV it utilizes Microsoft (I believe it's Media Player) to run the show. It is not using Pictures to Exec to run the show. This happened after we uninstalled X box video because the Xbox video logo appeared at random at the end of our published video. Up to the point where the Xbox logo appeard the video ran fine.Hoping you can provide some clear guidance for this new user. Thanks. Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 I believe a published MP4 will run using whatever media programme is installed on your hardware, it does not run as a PTE issue, if it is an Exe file, it uses PTE to run.Yachtsman1. Quote
ddv9612 Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 The MP4 file published runs on the HDTV using Windows Media Player, not the Pictures to Exe. When we published earlier versions our project, the MP4 file ran on the HDTV via PTE, no problem and did not use windows media, Quote
ddv9612 Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 When the pte file is published to an Mp4, the published product is only only available offline in the folder. Quote
davegee Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 If you are trying to play the mp4 file from a memory key plugged into the usb input on the hdtv then the media player in the tv is used.Explain how you are doing this?DG Quote
