Still doesn't alter the fact that if you want to study images, go to a web site, if you want to see an AV, then don't expect to be able to stop it every few seconds.

I afraid it does; it's a concept known as 'death of the author'. The moment anyone published any piece of work, the audience will always interpret it in their own way, and quite often not how the author intended it to be.

It also explains why some authors ask for critique, and then get irate with the responses.
