jt49
Will 8.5 be a free or paid for upgrade?See here (important information for existing users)!Regards,jt
stonemason
Hi Igor thanks for your reply. I would draw your attention to my comments above concerning people switching software, and suggest that a paid for .5 upgrade so soon after the release of v8 will not do a great deal to help the situation. I fully understand the need to maintain a revenue stream, but sometimes a gesture to placate disgruntled customers will pay greater dividends in the longer term.RegardsGeoff
Guest Yachtsman1
Hi GeoffThere was also the query about the overcharge when we up-graded, which was never resolved. It concerned the exchange rate. It was only a small amount but when multiplied by the number of people who up-graded could be a substantial amount. It is certainly an odd situation, when users get to snag the revised proposals before being asked to pay for the final version. Regards EricYachtsman1. Lin Evans
Hi Geoff,This thread is going off topic - please move questions concerning future pricing to the off-topic section. Igor posted this to announce new features in PTE 8.5 and he has stated, pricing considerations have not yet been established. stonemason
Hi LinI don't think it is off topic, and feel that Wnsoft should be made aware of what's being said. However I will end this now, and wait and see what happens when the beta versions become available.RegardsGeoff
