Objects freezes Computer

Selecting a slide in the image list then clicking on Objects or using the short cut Ctrl+B freezes the computer.

The machine is clean P4 2.8, 576 Ram Win XP Pro.

Could this be because I am using the trial version?

This is not much help Norbert, but no, that should not be a trial version problem. Without knowing what else to do, I would re-install, possibly download a new copy, and try again.

I will wait 'till I get the key. Mailed a money order today.

In the mean time I am busy building backgrounds, frames and borders.

Since I will make tuts for PS I have to do a lot of story writing and screenshots. Story writing to help me and to put it into the show es a text file folder. This will take a while.

I am not so concerned about it, was just running the programm through its pases to see what it can do and how it does it. Fortunately the learning curve was next to zero.

Thanks for the suggestion.

If I reinstall can I do it over this one or must I remove it?

generally over top -

when you get the key and install it, it just releases the full functions of program - once key is installed it stays in registry unless you have to reformat [ heaven forbid]

You can re-install over the present one if you want, but if you are concerned about the present installation being defective, it might be best to re-install.
