Password trouble for youtube access

I use the latest version of pet (8.0.6)

I have a working google account, but everytime I want to upload a video, it says there's an id problem..

I've found a parameter on google+ to authorised external applications...

Does anybody have the same problem ?

When PTE first introduced direct upload to Youtube I used it a couple of times, even though I have my own YT account, however, somehow my PTE password to YT was lost & I couldn't get it back, so since then I've only used my own YT account.

Hi,

Please try to enable Google 2 step authentication:

https://www.google.com/landing/2step/

Then generate a special password for YouTube and use it in PicturesToExe for YouTube.

Please let me know about result.

If you are asking me to do that? I won't be trying to do it. I had so much trouble previously having lost access to a number of uploads, I won't be risking it again. I am quite happy with my own YouTube account.

For the moment I don't have any video to upload :-( , so I will do the way you suggest, next time

I discovered that with new Google accounts (or application password if you activated 2-pass authentication) YouTube doesn't allow to upload a video from PicturesToExe. You need to upload once any video clip manual through YouTube website and then it will work in PicturesToExe.
