Bert Posted November 25, 2014 Report Posted November 25, 2014 In the last weeks I have worked on a show with 315 Slides and 10 pieces of music. I don't make that much slideshows and made a lot of mistakes. It took a long time to get the timing of the slides and the music correct. One of the mistakes I kept making was to remove a slide when I was in the timeline, I have read on the forum many times that you should not do this as this wrecks havoc with your timed slides. But when you working in the timeline, you don't always think of that. You can in the timeline right click the slide and click remove. My proposal is to GREY the remove button out when you right click a slide in the timeline and make it impossible to remove the slide when in the timeline. Thanks,Bert Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted November 25, 2014 Report Posted November 25, 2014 We all do things differently in PTE, that's one of the features that puts it above its main competition IMO. I wouldn't support such a change as it is what I would consider personalisation, & I suspect there are more who use the remove feature in this context than don't.EricYachtsman1. Quote
Bert Posted November 27, 2014 Author Report Posted November 27, 2014 I thought I had read that it was ALWAYS wrong to remove a slide while in the timeline, hence my request to make it impossible.Bert Quote
