All my sincere compliments to you and to Ron and Alan too.It works great! As for cakes and coffee... Well, when you'll come to Turin they will be ready on my humble table. atomiton
I'd like a volunteer to help me figure out how to roll flash credits at the END of the show... Flashme3 is GREAT, though!!! i got it (finally) to work at the beginning.
quickflicks
What problem did you have? How did you solve that problem?
atomiton
Still have the problem...I don't know how to play the flash movie after the exe runs... i want to run credits.
Guest guru
Project Options > Advanced > Run application after last slide. Your flash movie must be an executable file (.exe).
boxig
Your flash movie must be an executable file (.exe). What Guru means is use "FlashMe3.exe" and it will run your "Credits" flash after show (better full screen). Ron West has done a beutiful "Star War" effect for his credit but I don't know if he uploaded the show to Beechbrook already. If you use Swish and want a Demo project file (swi) how to make credits for after show in "Star War" effect, go to "FlashMe3" screen shot page to download.Granot
alrobin
Your flash movie must be an executable file (.exe). Guido,I have found I can also enter and run a non-".exe" file in "Proj Ops/Adv/Run application". For example when I enter a ".swf" or ".txt" link the flash player or "Notepad" opens automatically to run the file I specify.
Ronniebootwest
FlashMe3 is able to run credits at the end of a slide show. It works the same as the opening titles. You must create a separate folder into which you put the Flashme3 utility and the text file, also the flash file you have created. Then use 'Run external application' on your very last PTE slide. Please email me if you need any more help.
Guest guru
Thanks for your remark, Al. This didn't work once, and it is very important to know it's possible now.But we must be careful: if some user doesn't have Flash Player, he will not be able to open .swf file. atomiton
hmmm.... doesn't work...i have my show set to stay on the last slide after completion... do i need to close the show before the credits... like do i have to use that checkbox?
Guest guru
Sure Atomiton, you must close the show, checking "Close show after last sslide"!
atomiton
got it to work!!!it switches to the desktop for a second though... which if possible i would like to avoid... anyway to avoid this?thanks so much for the help.... i'lll be showing this in front of hundreds at my bro's weding this saturday... it's my first time doing it... and with all the photoshop work (paintshop pro) it took a good 40 hours of my life away.... at least...great utlilities granot... i'm also using the CDMenu thing and autorunning it...bought a few mini 8cm CD-Rs too.... easy to distribute, hold 200MB, plenty for the show and they have more "keeping" value... due to them being more rare. Guest guru
it switches to the desktop for a second though... which if possible i would like to avoid... anyway to avoid this?Yes Atomiton, you can easily avoid this "empty" second.Add a slide to your show (for example the last one, copying and pasting it at the end), place it in time-line one or two seconds before the end of soundtrack, customize so that its duration is very short and uncheck the case near "Show image" (under the slide list). So you'll see only the background. In "Customize slide" check "Run external application" and add your Flash file. This way your Flash with credits will start a little before that the show ends, and you'll avoid the blank interval. Guest guru
bought a few mini 8cm CD-Rs tooEven more "exclusive" and elegant are the "Business card" CDs. They are only 50 MB, but this space is large enough for a 100 slides show. I use them willingly, and I've bought the excellent Surething labels: the final product is really nice.See here:"Business Card" CDsand also here:Surething "Business Card" labels
boxig
Atomiton,Thanks for liking my stuff. BTW, I'm putting some CDmenu window samples made by users on CDautorunMenu Webpage with link to user's site, so you can send me some screen shot if you like.Guru,Thanks for mastering "FlashMe.".Granot
