PTE doesn't see font [SOLVED]

My PTE 8 doesn't see font Adobe Garamond Pro Bold.

All other progams (PS, Word etc.) find it.

Any solution, tip why and what to do?

PTE only recognises True Type Fonts.

Are you sure about that? I can see fonts in PTE that are not showing as TrueType fonts in Word. (e.g. Monotype Corsiva). Indeed, in my Word drop down of available fonts there is only one that shows as TrueType (and that one is also usable in PTE)

I thought that's what was said a while back, but I believe that you might be right about certain fonts which show as TT but in reality are not (or vice versa).

P.S. I do not have Garamond to try it. It could also be a "Unique Font" which PTE does not have rights to use?? A search turned up a number of references to this but nothing concrete. Another quick comparison shows that "all"(?) TT Fonts in other programmes are available in PTE but not all non-TT fonts are available e.g. Bell Gothic Standard (on my PC).

I have Garamond Pro Bold on my Laptop and it shows as an Open Type Font. Garamond shows in PTE 8 but not Garamond Pro.

I checked Adobe Garamond Pro Bold font and it works correctly with PicturesToExe.

The problem happens with Garamond Premier Pro font family. We'll try to solve this problem.

Currently Open Type fonts are not supported.

We're working on this problem.

Please use True Type fonts.

Now PicturesToExe supports OpenType fonts and you'll see new fonts in the list of available fonts.

Project Options_Defaults_Customize font for text comments. A huge range of options is now available. I assume these are what's called OpenType Fonts.
