JEB Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 Hi, I am having a problem with setting “% of the slide to show main image” I am getting erratic responses when trying to set this option in Project Options/Defaults. Most of the time it fails to respond. On a couple of occasions it has responded but as I do nothing different on each occasion I can't establish the cause for this behaviour. I select the value via the slider, index the “Apply to all slides” button and the “OK” button. I am getting the same behaviour on two different machines both running Vs. 8.0.11. In fact on one I have not been able to get it to work at all. Any ideas? John Quote
davegee Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 John,Is this on an existing project or have you tried it with a New Project?DG Quote
JEB Posted January 27, 2015 Author Report Posted January 27, 2015 Yes,Tried it with several new test projects.John Quote
PGA Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 Prior to trying to set this value, had you manually adjusted the zoom value of any slides? If you had, I do not think the "Apply to all slides" would over-ride those customised values. But I may be wrong. Quote
JEB Posted January 27, 2015 Author Report Posted January 27, 2015 OK, I'll come clean. Im an idiot!I think I have been double clicking the "Apply" button, effectively switching it on and then off again. So it looks like the problem was entirely of my own making.Igor is off the hook again!Cheers and thank you both for your patience.John Quote
JEB Posted January 27, 2015 Author Report Posted January 27, 2015 Peter,Just for your information, I have checked you can change an individual slide to a different size within O&A and it will hold that without effecting the others. Then globally in PO perform a global change that will set it back as it was with the others.RegardsJohn Quote
Igor Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 John,We slightly reworked "Apply to all slides" function in future version 9.0. And I hope to improve it more. Quote

It took me a while to figure out what was going on. Double-click is a natural thing to do. I still forget at times and make the same mistake. I am glad to see I have not been the only one....
