denisb Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Hi,Suppose that the "Blank project - Template for new projects" is with an aspect ratio 16:9If you select File>new, you get:If you validate (OK) , the new project is 16:9, not 4:3 !!!Denis Quote
bogari0171 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 May be I did not understand what you said.If I open a new project the window opens always with 4:3, but I can select the wanted ratio, and it is applied correctlySalutiClaudio Quote
davegee Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Denis,I also lost my "Template for new projects" some time ago.Go to manage templates an set it again. Make sure that it has "stuck".When I now open a new project I do not get the option to change the ar.DGP.S. You should not use "Blank Project" as a name - it will not overwrite the PTE default "Blank Project" and you will have two "Blank Projects" in your list. The "Delete" button is not available for the PTE Default "Blank Project" which is always at the top of the Template List. I use a unique name - "1920x1080 Blank".I suspect that because these "Blank Projects" are saved in different folders you are not asked if you want to overwrite and in your case there is some confusion regarding which "Blank Project" is being applied.Perhaps Igor should consider "BLANK PROJECT is not a valid name".Online Help: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/templates Quote
denisb Posted February 8, 2015 Author Report Posted February 8, 2015 Yes, I understand. It works if i define a new name for the project. If we use Blank project and customize it without changing its name, it work when we open PTE and begin a new projectIf we select File>new, it doesn't work.Denis Quote
davegee Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Denis,When I open PTE it opens with "Last saved project" (my choice). So, to start a new project I always must use "File/new".DG Quote
