Guest Yachtsman1 Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 There is usually a 2GB exe file size limit in PTE, see http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/techniques/exefilesize?s[]=sizeYachtsman1. Quote
ceratarges Posted March 25, 2015 Author Report Posted March 25, 2015 but it will be only slideshow without movie so EXE will be lighter than 2 GB Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 I think Tom has been doing some investigation regarding 4K, maybe he will see this & respond?Yachtsman1. Quote
davegee Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 I think that the original question was "Can PTE export 4K Exe"?This might help:http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18190-creating-uhd-4k-videos/#entry121320and this:http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/17872-creating-4k-videos-using-h265hevc/?hl=h265DG Quote
tom95521 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 I think it would take a powerful graphics card to play a .exe slideshow at 4K, even without using video. Pan, zoom, rotate, and transitions may not be smooth. It may not play at 60 fps. I have no experience creating this type of slideshow as .exe file.Video output may be a better option.Tom Quote
Tonton Bruno Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 I made a 4K PTE show several months ago.No problem to build it and run it on my PC with 2K screen.I launched it on an iMac with a 5K screen and it was perfectIf you get a PC with a 4K screen and a good graphic card you will have no problem.I presume you will have no problem if you connect a portable PC to a 4K video projector. Lin Evans Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 I made nine megapixel exe slideshows for clients with PTE many years ago which ran perfectly on nine megapixel IBM and Viewsonic displays. The systems and dual video cards were not suitable for animation at that resolution but simple fades and incredibly detailed images ran perfectly.Best regards,Lin Quote
