Ken Cox
that is because the slides are already compressed. Possibly you can upload your show tohttp://beechbrook.com/pte/http://beechbrook.com/upload/ to be downloaded.the other option is to send it with no music. I have found if i get much >4 mb in size it will generally get bounced as being too big.ken
Guest guru
Hi Jackie! Welcome to this forum!Ken is quite right. A PTE executable is already very well compressed, and no compression software can compress it effectively. I tried with WinZip and WinRar, using "To Marie" diaporama by Michel. Here are the results.- Original ZIP file (downloaded from Michel's site) : 17,968,506 bytes- Extracted EXE : 18,062,713- ZIP file (max compression): 17,968,405 (101 bytes less than original!)- RAR file (max compression): 17,973,547 (5 KB larger than original zip).I think any remark is useless... Michel
The file is compressed here, only for if required including notes or for certain server which don' t accept to download the files ".exe" (security).
