stonemason Posted October 17, 2015 Report Posted October 17, 2015 Is there anyway of getting the mouse cursor to change to the familiar hand when moving over a menu clickable button.Geoff Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted October 17, 2015 Report Posted October 17, 2015 Hi GeoffLong time no hear from? Did you try changing it in Mouse Control panel?Regards EricYachtsman1. Quote
davegee Posted October 17, 2015 Report Posted October 17, 2015 Jeff,Put a TEXT BOX over the top of the Button and the Mouse will respond to it - change to a hand.Adjust the Button to create the size/length that you want and apply text over the top with the link.DG Quote
stonemason Posted October 18, 2015 Author Report Posted October 18, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions which will solve the present problem. However it seems a bit of an oversite that a button that serves no other purpose than to be clicked to trigger an action should behave differently to hyprerlink text.Geoff Quote
davegee Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 Geoff, I agree that a workaround is not a long term solution. Why not mention it in "suggestions for next version"? It might not be too late?DG Quote
PGA Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Geoff,If all you want is visual confirmation that your mouse is hovering over the correct button, you can set a different colour to the text on the button. for the "hover" state, and yet another colour for when the mouse click occurs. If this is a good enough solution then you do not need to place a text layer over the button. Note that these options for different colours of text become available only after you have assigned an action to the button. Hope that makes sense.Peter Quote
