stonemason Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Suggest that the mouse cursor changes to the familiar hand when moving over a menu clickable button. There would seem to be no logical reason why the mouse pointer should behave differently to a hypertext link when the sole funcion of both is to trigger some form of event or action. Many thanksGeoff Quote
denisb Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 I don't agree.Look at the Windows Explorer, Word, Excel,...The look of the button change when the mouse is over, not the mouse cursor..If the button change like in the example below, it will be correct.http://www.diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=39452Denis Quote
jt49 Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 I agree with Denis. The situation is good as it is today. The mouse cursor changes in cases of clickable texts or images, which does not make much sense for buttons, as they can be made to show their own action. I would not like to see two actions (cursor and button) to indicate that the mouse is hovering over a button.Regards,jt Quote
Lin Evans Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 Nice solution Denis! There are always alternatives and the nice thing about PTE is that it is very flexible...Best regards,Lin Quote
davegee Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 It doesn't answer Geoff's (specific) requiremet, but I "think" that this is what Denis is suggesting."Deep Aqua" Button with HSL adjustments.Button.ptestyleApply the style to a single blank slide. Play in Preview or EXE mode.DG Quote
denisb Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Hello, buttons in Windows get a slightly different appearance when the mouse is over them, to indicate to the user that something is going to happen when they click thereWith the aqua button (default button) in PTE, the difference is not really visible. So I made my own button with a noticable difference when the mouse is over it.DenisBoutons.zip Quote
