alan sh
I am running PicturesToExe version Deluxe 7.5.10. When I click on Help-> About, I get a window opening and it says"Standard features: Free lifetime upgrades"What does that actually entitle me to? Am I allowed to install version 8?regardsAlan
Guest Yachtsman1
Not unless you pay for the up-grade the "free for life" offer was changed some time ago.Yachtsman1.

alan sh
Ah - I purchased mine in September 2013.So, what do I do to get my free upgrade (as shown by the link on the previous post "All customers who purchased PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.5 since July 2013 have the free upgrade to new version 8, as indicated on our website.") I cannot find any reference to this on the web site itself.regardsAlan
davegee
Contact wnsoft quoting your email address and the date that you purchased v7.5.DGCheck your existing serial. If the format is: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx it "might" allow you to install V8??V8 will not overwrite V7.5 so you won't "kill" anything. alan sh
OK - I asked and I am not entitled to an upgrade. Can an admin person update the forum page accordingly? It's a bit misleading.Alan
davegee
Alan,The post was Igor's so firstly, I don't think even an admin can override his post. He might do it himself having received your request. As for being misleading, I wonder if it was a time-limited offer? It was quite a while ago.As for version 8, it is certainly worth the upgrade cost with many new features which you can trial for free. It might be worth another email to ask whether, if you bought now, you would qualify for a free upgrade to version 9?DG
