cgbraggjr
After compiling my show a couple of times, I now get this error (see attached). Anybody know what's wrong? Chuck B
Guest Yachtsman1
Hi again Chuck Did you sort this out? Need your hardware info before trying if you still need help. Yachtsman1.

Guest Yachtsman1
High Chuck. Hardware looks OK, I'm clutching at straws here, did you try Googling the error? How much free space is there on your C drive, Have you tried clearing your cache memory, cookies etc. Yachtsman1.
cgbraggjr
Yachtsman - I have lots of disk space. The error seems to be referring to a non-existent folder and file (TempPteViewerxxxxx.exe). The numbers represented by xxxxx change in every error message. Should I try to uninstall and reinstall? Guest Yachtsman1
Hi Chuck are you using version 8.0.17? How long have you used it successfully before it failed? Did you retain your previous settings when you downloaded it? What size is the show you are getting the error message from? Anybody know what's wrong? Chuck B Has this error been displayed only when using a particular project file ? Have you tried making a completely new project file to verify if the error message persists ? *Its possible the original/particular project file giving the error message has become damaged/corrupt if upon creating a completely new project file the error issue has vanished. *Its always recommended to identify your PTE program version to help in trouble-shooting. cgbraggjr
OK, I uninstalled and reinstalled and the error is gone. It is 8.0.17 now. I thought I was using 8.0.2 before, but that can't be right. It was 8-something. Just another Windows mystery I'm thinking. Chuck B
Guest Yachtsman1
Hi Chuck I seem to remember something similar with an earlier series of PTE, glad you were able to fix it. Yachtsman1.
