I am trying to subtitle a sequence with fairly lengthy pieces of dialogue. This means splitting paragraphs over several slides.

I can create the text in a slide in O/A, that's fine if the comment matches the slide.

My question is, if a slide has e.g. a zoom happening lasting several seconds can I get the subtitle to appear other than at the start of the slide.

I have tried creating the text as a transparent  png. file but that appears black on the screen

Many thanks to Contentawarephil for his prompt suggestion on opacity being timed using key points.

I think that will do the trick.

Many Thanks

Hi Snapcam

I can't see what contentawarephil suggested for some reason, however there was quite a long thread about this 2 or 3 weeks ago. If you look back through my posts. Also there is my Text tutorial on YouTube which still figures.

Regards yachtsman1.

Many thanks for your reply Eric.

I have managed to complete what I wanted using the  opacity as you and Contentawarephil suggested.
