canico
When I publish a sequence on a DVD made in 4:3 and show it on a wide screen TV the pictures fill the screen with the images slightly stretched, however when made in 16:9 which I would expect to be correct the images do not quite fill the screen. Can anyone please offer an explanation and possible solution ? Thank you
davegee
What is your project resolution/aspect ratio? For a 4:3 show try ticking the "Fixed size of slide" box. Another way forward is to make your project 16x9 and overlay your images on that. For instance your images might be 3x2 (1620x1080) overlaid on a 16x9 (1920x1080) project. Then the 16x9 show will "fit to screen". However, you will have to make some adjustment for the "TV Safe Zone" which will be around 90-96%. Thank you It's a long time since I made a DVD from a 4-3 show, but I seem to remember if you tick the "fix size of slide in pixels " box, your 4-3 show won't stretch across a 16-9 sized screen. Check your Project Options tab & see if the box is ticked or not. See screen shot. Yachtsman1.
