(SOLVED) Masks behaving badly

Hello ..

Can figure out what's wrong with masks in PTE 7.0.6

First image the mask work perfectly as it should but subsequent slides the mask is not recognized. I used PNG with transparency background, I used JPEG file with pure black and white .. 

Is this a possible bug in this old version?

The image that you are masking should sit between the "mask container" and the "mask".

Click on "mask container" so that it is highlighted and then right click to "add" your image.

thank you so much for pointing me to the right direction, I just couldn't see what I'm  doing wrong.
