Igor Posted May 26, 2016 Report Posted May 26, 2016 Hi, If you created any wedding slideshows (or AV shows) with PicturesToExe please post a link to EXE file or YouTube here. This can be very useful for wedding photographers who choose PicturesToExe. Thanks, Quote
thedom Posted May 26, 2016 Report Posted May 26, 2016 Here is my contribution, a slideshow created 5 years ago (wedding of my cousin) : Quote
Almark Posted May 27, 2016 Report Posted May 27, 2016 Hi Igor, as always, I am most happy to promote PTE. As the father of the bride, I was warned many months in advance, that I was not to spend the day with my camera. So; as a gift to my daughter, I sought out a suitable 'professional wedding photographer' and paid for his services. This took some time, checking out their work and the feedback they had received. I live in Ireland and my daughter was getting married in England. Eventually, I came up with 3 photographers and asked my daughter to choose. To my delight, she chooses the guy I liked best. On the day, he was superb, relaxed, confident and just did his thing in the background. All I have done in this slideshow is put together some of Andrew's mono work, with appropriate music. Clearly; as an experienced user of PTE, this was so easy to do. The only hard bit was finding the right music and then syncing the music to fit the images. The music is the glue that sticks everything together. I have shown this slideshow to my camera club and the feedback was great. Many members said that they thought watching someone else's wedding was bound to be boring, but the show held their interest and some even became emotional! PTE offers, via "PUBLISH" win exe, win zip, mac app, mac zip, and HD video as mp4. I have found that the YouTube export crops to 16:9 and I like my shows at 16:10, so I never use this option. Please feel free to let your photographer friends see this. http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file/395-claire-and-waynes-wedding/ Quote
jak101 Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 It was so good to see a post from theDom. His album was wonderful. I know that I am one of many who would love to see his site up and running again. here were so many wonderful templates etc. I had some, but unfortunately, something happened and I lost them. I am not knowledgeable to talent enough to recreate them or anything close. Quote
smithrg Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 I made this show three years ago of my granddaughters wedding, sadly they just filed for divorce, but the show lives on. Best regards, Robert Quote
Lin Evans Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 Very nice Robert - sad that it only lasted three years, but much better for Heather that if it had to end it was after three rather than thirty years... Best regards, Lin Quote
smithrg Posted June 6, 2016 Report Posted June 6, 2016 Thanks Lin, that is true, but sadly, there is a 5 month old child involved now. There is just no commitment from younger folks anymore. We cannot live their lives for them, only hope that things work out for the best. Best regards, Robert Quote
JudyKay Posted June 7, 2016 Report Posted June 7, 2016 We do some marriage counseling. Some time back a couple came to us with divorce papers in hand--they had picked up the papers that very day, Before they left our meeting, they ripped up the papers. Another divorced couple a while back came and eventually reconciled and remarried. Keep hope. The images are touching. A lovely couple. Quote
