Almark Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 In the menu under 'Publish' there are two sections for writing an Windows Executable, one as an Exe and one as a zip. I think the same approach should be used for Mac, one for the app and one for a zip. At the moment there is only one section for Mac, which has buttons to select zip or app. It is only a minor point, I know, but I think this would improve the look and flow of the menu under Publish. davegee Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Mark, The reason for the two PC versions is because of Windows related issues - it is not "just" an exe in a Zip. W10 does not like the PTE EXE. W10 likes the Safe Executable with Digital Signature. The same issues do not arise with the MAC OS. DG Quote
Barry Beckham Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Mark When you select a Mac version from the Publish menu, there is an option to create the Mac show in zip. Its right there next to where you put the file name. Quote
Almark Posted May 31, 2016 Author Report Posted May 31, 2016 Davy, thank you, I didn't know about the digital signature. Barry, I know that this is there, I thought that having the same approach for win and mac would improve the flow and layout of the menu system. Quote
