ContaxMan Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 Thank you for sharing this excellent show with us. The images are stunning and the music matches the mood very well indeed. The transitions all work well and the overall effect is to keep the viewer on the edge of the seat, waiting to see what comes next!BRAVO! Quote
verhoef Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Very good show, and a hell of a work to program !!It must be a WALHALLA for Photographers to be in Venice at the carnavalperiod !Do you happen to know when this period is ?greetingsMichel Verhoef Quote
alrobin Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Michel,The "Venice" show is marvelous! Much better than the original. I have never seen one that quite matches it in artistic impression, technical quality, and imagination. It is a wonderful creation and also illustrates just what can be done in PTE with fairly simple transitions. Thanks for directing our attention to it! Quote

Severn Bore Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Just to endorse all of the good things said about this innovative presentation. It contains some excellent ideas (as well as perfect photographs) which will no doubt inspire others (including me). The only small suggestion I would hesitatingly make is that as the show contained more than just one theme it could have been split into two separate presentations. It is great to be able to view so many different presentations to pick up new ideas about transitions and music. Thanks to all who have contributed their presentations and to Beechbrook for making them available.Well done to all concerned. Quote
nickles Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Michel,What can I say that others haven't?Gosh...Ooooh....Marvelous...Neat...Thoroughably ejoyable...excellent technically...even better artistically.I envy your talents...Well done!Thanks for the letting us view it,Ken Quote
verhoef Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 Hi Venice-lovers,The Venice show did remind me of a show which I saw a few weeks ago at an audio-visual club. I think it is the most stunning digital show one can see, also from France, called "Les Fenetres" (=the windows) with the music and singing of Jaques Brel. It goes of course about windows, it is in very high tempo, and there is a immediate link from the songtekst to the shown image. (and a lot of third imaging).(I don't know if it is done in pte by the way).Is this show familiar to you venice-lovers, and if not I will try to find out where I can find it.regardsMichel Verhoef Quote
Guest guru Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Dear Michel, the excellent slideshow "Les fenêtres" is a work of Max Rouchaville, who made also the very amusing "La fessée" (this one from a song by Georges Brassens), "Santorin" and "Les Açores".I downloaded them few month ago from the site of Michel Comte (http://www.fanaphot.com/), but now you can still find there only "Les Açores", a very good example of a travel slideshow. But I'm quite sure that my friend Michel still has in his archive "Les fenêtres", and if you want I think he could upload it to his site, for you and for all the others who don't know this slideshow.Qu'est-ce que tu en dis, Michel (Comte) ? Michel Posted May 10, 2004 Author Report Posted May 10, 2004 Ok ! Done, Guido. At this moment and for some days, you can download - fenêtres - here (32mb). Quote
