It occurred to me that usually, when we create a snowglobe, we use a jpg image so no real reason to be able to see through the globe because the jpg image is opaque anyway. On the other hand, if we wanted some greater realism, we could use a partially transparent PNG file and then as in real life, we would be able to see the background through the globe anywhere the PNG wasn't opaque. This takes a little different approach to creating the construction for the style and this style which will work for any aspect ratio is amenable to a PNG object inside the globe and allows translucency so that the background behind the globe will be visible. So perhaps this will be my last snowglobe style this season unless someone has some more ideas to explore. Below a sample. As with the other styles, the sun reflection, background image and position and size of the globe are all user adjustable.
