What's new in PicturesToExe 9 New editor of animation PicturesToExe 9 includes a brand-new editor of animation with improved design and new great features Timeline panel can show all keyframes for selected objects on multiple tracks You can simultaneously add changes to multiple objects in the Properties Tab Added multi-selection of keyframes. You can move or delete selected keyframes, and add changes in the Animation tab New animation parameters Each group of parameters (Pan, Zoom, Rotate, Opacity, etc) can be assigned or excluded from a keyframe. You can uncheck a group of parameters to exclude it from the animation Added Modifiers for animation of objects. A modifier can simplify creation of a complex animation Improved work with speeds of objects (Linear, Smooth, Accelerate, Decelerate, and custom). Fixed problem with not working link to a created video file in video output window. Fixed problem with incorrect value of a text template <%SlidesCount%> in the Objects and Animation editor. Fixed problem with with applying of some slide styles to video clips. Fixed problem with incorrect position of objects with unsharp mask + blur in video output. Fixed problem with incorrect default scale in the timeline panel of the main window. Improved stability of PicturesToExe.

Typing of ASCII codes works without NumLock key now. See details Fixed problem with empty thumbnails in the Slide list if a slide contains a Mask Container with modified time range. Fixed problem. Slide options shown incorrect slide duration, if the option “Show full slide duration” was enabled in the Preferences. Improved stability.

Fixed problem with video clips 4:3 encoded at 1440 x 1080. Fixed problem with a wrong direction of a rotation for main images in the Slide list by Ctrl + F. Small improvements.

The Objects and Animation editor displays full slide duration in the status bar. The status bar in the main window now shows a full path to a file for a selected slide. Other improvements. Fixed problem with incorrect work of an option “Use background of a slide” for a custom transition with gradient background. Fixed problem with some slide styles created in previous version 8.0. Fixed problem with a Text object in the Objects and animation editor when “Zoom” parameters could be turned on randomly in all keyframes. Fixed problem. 2-pass video encoding didn’t work. Fixed problem. Protection options for executable show didn’t work. Fixed visual problem with Shape transition effect. Fixed problem with a missing item “Documents” in the tree of folders.

Fixed problem when video encoding doesn’t start if a project contains audio files with certain non-latin letters. Fixed problem with copying text from PicturesToExe to another text editor.

This helps to avoid a problem of missing images (black pictures) in a created video, if project contains many large images on one slide. Earlier you could observe a problem (black pictures) with a slide style "10 portraits" for large images. Fixed problem with freezing of the Objects and animation editor after copying/pasting some objects between slides. Fixed problem with non-working EXE presentations which are larger than 2 GB. Max allowed size is 3.9 GB. Fixed problem with missing “Help” custom window from projects saved in versions 8.0 and 7.5.

Dedicated NVIDIA video card is used by default for the main window of PicturesToExe, in the Objects and animation editor, and in created EXE shows. This improvement provides more smooth playback of animation and effects. Fixed problem with hanging of presentations on macOS Sierra and High Sierra if a project contains non-animated GIF images. Fixed problem with missing Animated GIFs as additional images in a custom transition.
Igor Posted January 30, 2018 Author Report Posted January 30, 2018 PicturesToExe 9.0.16 is available: Fixed problem with a combination of options “Wait for a key press to show next slide” and “Show next slide after indicated time interval” in certain slides. Fixed problem with BitDefender antivirus due to false positive. Developers of BitDefender were informed about this problem, but solution might take several days or more. We simply rebuilt the executable files of PicturesToExe to avoid a conflict with BitDefender wrong detection.

More details here Improved compatibility with video players for created MP4 video files. Fixed problem with wrongly created executable slideshow for Mac. This problem occurred only in Windows 10 if a file name of a project was very long. Fixed problem when Missing files window didn’t display missing icons (.ico). Fixed problem updating of buttons in custom windows.
Igor Posted June 1, 2018 Author Report Posted June 1, 2018 PicturesToExe 9.0.18 is available: Fixed problem with playback of audio clips which appeared within first 50 ms of audio as a sound “click” and waveform was distorted. Usually this problem doesn’t appear, because first 200-300 ms of audio files contain silence. Fixed problem of cutting of last 20-50 ms in last audio clip. This problem also usually is not visible, because end of audio clips contain silence. Slightly improved accuracy of audio keypoints (sound volume) during playback. Fixed problem with PNG images in a fullscreen preview and in created EXE files which were rotated in the File list or Slide list. Fixed problem with drag’n’drop of variants of custom transition.
Igor Posted July 25, 2018 Author Report Posted July 25, 2018 PicturesToExe 9.0.19 is available: Fixed problem with adding audio files which contain specific Unicode symbols. Fixed issue with incorrect pixel values in Image Crop parameters and Border parameter. PicturesToExe and executable shows work on Intel graphics by default in laptops with NVIDIA dual graphics (as earlier in all versions of PicturesToExe before 9.0.15). This decision is related with a poor performance of NVIDIA graphics on laptops under Windows 10 April 2018 Update (v1803). More info. Other minor improvements.

Fixed problem with non-working EXIF and IPTC templates in a text object in the Objects and animation editor. Fixed problem with a missing sound of a video file included as an additional file into a slide style and exported as a video.
