Kurt S Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I made a presentation which is in color. Using the print button I had it print to a Xerox Phaser 7300 networked printer. The odd thing is that it printed in black and white. Every other application I have used (Photshop, Irfanview, ACDSee) will print just fine in color to that printer. I've tried this on two different computers. One is running Windows 2000 and the other is running XP. I'm using version 4.20 of PTE.Any ideas?I just tried printing to a Tektronics 780 color printer and it came out fine. Now I'm wondering if it's a driver issue although I still find it odd that other programs print in color to the Xerox. Quote
Alan Lyons Posted May 24, 2004 Report Posted May 24, 2004 Would it have anything to do with the programme print set up i.e."print grey scale". These things are sent to annoy us and are usully caused by something stupid. Last night I was combining pairs of portraits to make a standard 1024 with slide and each time I coppied to the canvas it turned to B/W???? New canvas problem went away?????? Alan Quote
Kurt S Posted May 24, 2004 Author Report Posted May 24, 2004 No, it's set to print in color. And if I print to that printer in any graphics program it prints in color. Quote
Alan Lyons Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Unless anyone else has an idea, I'd say whack it with a hammer Quote
