When you try to 'Rotate' an image in the Slides, using Ctrl+F (clockwise), it rotates the image in the opposite direction. Also, the Alt+F (counterclockwise) opens the 'File' dropdown menu. I think this issue was also in older versions. (using Win10)

I can confirm this event - I am using Windows 7 PRO 64-bit (PictoExe 32-bit). Same result. (9.0.3).
I'm not certain if it is designed to by default to work this way (I typically don't use this shortcut) - I tried with PTE v8 and same result.
It appears when checking the shortcut keys in general, either version, the actions are the same for both - it may very well be a normal function.

HOWEVER, these command shortcuts (ALT+F and Ctrl+F) go against the stated function in the ONLINE HELP GUIDE.

(as stated in the online help):
"Alt+F - Rotate Counter Clockwise (lossless)  Ctrl+F - Rotate Selected File Clockwise in File List (lossless)"

Further experimentation - suggests the Alt+F does works COUNTERCLOCKWISE (must tap twice AFTER initial TAP to see the rotation) - but the File List also is activated (I believe the ALT+F is a reserved Key Command by Windows when a Menu Option List is in an ACTIVE Window) - Ctrl+F seems to function normally (rotates CLOCKWISE) Ver. 9.0.3

In the File List there seems to be a possible conflict (9.0.3).

Alt+F works Counterclockwise in the File List but it also opens the File Menu which does not happen in V8.

It also does not update the image in the Mini Player to the new orientation.

Ctrl+F works Counterclockwise in both V8 and V9.

Please try PicturesToExe 9.0.4.

Igor,

Yes, in 9.0.4, the 'Ctrl+F' rotates the file clockwise and 'Alt+F' rotates the file anti-clockwise. However, if you try to do it through 'Explorer', 'Rotate Right' or 'Rotate Left', nothing happens. I notice it does not  work in V8, either.

Gary,

PTE doesn't support these commands from Explorer menu.

Igor, Ok, good to know. I never noticed them before until we got into this situation with the PTE rotation commands. Just caught me eye because most other commands do work within PTE.  Thanks... Gary
