I have a new slideshow. I am going to leave it posted for just a few days.

My wife and I just got to pick up our new son. (April 6th)

We are in the process of adopting. But, it will be a few more months

before it will be final. He was four months old when we picked him up.

I took a lot of pictures the first few weeks. I made this show to send

to our family. But thought I would post it here too.

It is nothing fancy just a lot of pictures.

The day we went to pick him up It was not a rainy day. But the first thing

We seen was a Rainbow. I just had to stop and take a picture of it.

Someone was telling us congratulations.

I have found I don’t have as much time to keep up with the forum.

But it is well worth it.

Chuck, congratulations!

On the show of course, and more importantly - on the baby. :)

I like very much simple little presentations of events as you have done. These are the kind I like to do for the grandkids to play over and over again when they visit.

I would mention that your choice of music is perfect, fits both the rainbow omen and the bright new child. Brudda Iz ( I think it is?) is one of my favorite singers but I have yet to apply his music to any of my photos.

Thanks for sharing the joyous event.

Thanks Bob,

I am glad you enjoyed the show.

It has been such a great time. I took FMLA for the month of April.

So I had a lot of time with him the first month.

The first phone call was on Monday April 5th around 11:30 am.

We were both outside working in the yard so we

did not get the call until later in the day.

Then on Tuesday April 6th we Picked him up at 9 am.

Monday night was the longest night ever. ;)

We both had our cell phones making calls on the way home.

I wish I could have recorded all them calls too.

We did not tell anyone before we went. The Mother and Father could have

still changed their minds. We met both of them back in November. But after

she had the baby she decided to parents. Then, we had tell our Family and Friends.

It was very hard to tell everyone that she had changed her mind.

But everything happens for a reason.

Chuck,

This was a very good show and I enjoyed every second.

The phone calles and the baby laugh were great idea.

And a good choice of music.

Chuck,

Great show!

I have yet to publish my first, but this is a great demonstration of how effective a show can be without lots of bells and whistles and sophistication.

Most of all, the baby looks so happy and contented! :P

Great ideas for pics and nicely done show.

Congratulations!
