davegee Posted March 29, 2017 Report Posted March 29, 2017 Igor, In Version 8, if I add a one line Text Object I can set the Percentage Zoom to 20%. If I then add text and create 2 or 3 lines of text in the same Text Box the Percentages will be 40% and 60%. If I do the same thing in Version 9 I get 20%, 39.633% and 59.266% Am I missing something? Igor Posted March 29, 2017 Report Posted March 29, 2017 Dave, We added changes into a Text object. It seems that calculation of multi-line text was changed slightly. Not sure that it's a bug. Quote
davegee Posted March 29, 2017 Author Report Posted March 29, 2017 Perhaps the Calculation needs a little adjustment? It would make it difficult (not impossible) to get consistent Text sizes across multiple slides without some kind of Workaround. DG Quote
MUR Posted March 29, 2017 Report Posted March 29, 2017 HI For me, it would be better than the percentage of size in the texts, be for the set, regardless of the number of lines. MUR Quote
Tonton Bruno Posted March 30, 2017 Report Posted March 30, 2017 Hi. I put a lot of text in my slides, and I have no problem with the size because I first create a template and then duplicate it. Generally my text object is left justified and the center is set to -100,-100 (Top left corner), so all text objects have the same size and are alined on the same point. I admit it is a workaround, but it works. MY SUGGESTION It woulld be very usefull to have some kind of "text style" or "text template". We would be able to select a text, and then we apply a template, with correct size, correct alignment and correct Center position. Quote

DG Dave, Please try a new test version: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe Does it solve this problem? Bruno, We consider idea of text template/styles. Firstly, we will add text effects. Quote
davegee Posted March 30, 2017 Author Report Posted March 30, 2017 Thanks Igor, That solves the problem that I reported. DG Quote
MUR Posted March 30, 2017 Report Posted March 30, 2017 HI I also use a system similar to Bruno's, but I insist, the zoom value should be for the block of text, such as in images and videos MUR Quote
