Error Frame Engine Exception PTE9

Hi 

I have PTE 9 , I have previously used it to create an AV with no problems at all, tonight I am working on doing another this is only the second time I have used PTE 9

I added a blank slide and started to add the text but when I went to change the text it came up with several boxes with the error message Frame Engine Exception Error,

this did not happen when I used it previously ,  Any idea how to solve this problem, I can not change text from Arial See attached  file showing error message
