While searching for ideas for Transitions on YouTube someone called this a Boring Transition so that is what I have called it.

It is a Prototype and is suitable for Full Screen 16x9 Images in a 16x9 Project.

If the backgrounds of the two slides being transitioned are different then the usual Dissolve takes place.

Feel free to edit for 3x2 and/or 4x3 etc.

Looks pretty cool to me... I tried it with all kinds of different aspect ratios and even mixed and it looks fine with all as it is... as long as the project option is set to 16:9....

Thanks !!!

Best regards,

Lin

The intended effect is only produced with full screen 16:9 images in a 16:9 Project.

I can't imagine that anything else would be of any use?

I don't have any problem using it like this:

But then my standards for what is acceptable might be lower than someone doing a serious AV show. This was just a 30 second example and the first slide could have been dissolved like the blank slide at the end, but I really don't personally have a problem with seeing the back of a slide in the transition.

Best regards,

Hi Lin,

Thanks for pointing out the oversight. If used properly, (as intended), you would not see the back of slide 2 so I corrected that.

This is the sort of what I had in mind - it is probably of more use to someone doing tutorials/titles etc than for pure AV:

Thanks for this one, as well as all of the other templates you share, Dave.  Take a look at this transition and see if you think it's worth duplicating in PTE.  I have tried a couple of times, but never got very far with it.  http://www.masterslider.com/template/box-slider-template/   You might find some other interesting transition ideas here as well.  http://www.masterslider.com/templates/ I have been using the Wordpress version of the slider on the blog I am creating.
