Nig
Does anyone know if you can change the order of the thumbnails or files that appear in the selection window next to the folder list. I'd like them in date order.
davegee
If they are from the same camera then the file name will give you date order provided that you haven't passed 9999. If they are from different cameras etc then you could batch rename using the date as the file name. DG
Nig
Thanks They are on different cameras hence the problem. Also I always like to keep original file names as I have a backup system that requires them. I just thought there was a way to re-order and I couldn't see it. Igor
Did you try this option - the main menu > Settings > File List Sorting Order > Date ?

goddi
I've noticed that the sorting choice for 'Date/Time' in PTE is the 'Modified' date. Perhaps it might help, when you have used different cameras (i.e., different filenames sequences), if you have a sort choice to use the 'Date Taken'?
