Slideshow Freezes

I owned a version of pics2exe many, many years ago.  I downloaded the trial version to see what has changed, before purchasing again, and when I am trying to view a photo slideshow that I put together it freezes and says "Not Responding" and I have to shut the program down.  I have been unable to preview my slideshow at all.  Any ideas what could be causing this?  I am using Windows 8.1 and have AMD Radeon R6.  Thanks in advance. :)

Try dragging just one image into the slide list of a new project.

Make sure that the image resolution is not greater than the project resolution e.g. 1920x1080.

Now hit the Preview button.

Does it still freeze?

Please also make sure that drivers for your AMD card are updated to the latest version.

If it doesn't help, try to temporarily disable antivirus software to check if it helps.
