davegee Posted July 26, 2018 Report Posted July 26, 2018 What happens when you produce an exe or mp4? Quote
jackie2249 Posted July 26, 2018 Author Report Posted July 26, 2018 I made an EXE and it has music as well. If I play the disc in my Computer its fine but on my TV no sound. I have an old school client with no technology knowledge......Am i missing a step in the burning process? Quote
davegee Posted July 26, 2018 Report Posted July 26, 2018 How is the DVD player connected to the tv? Is it DVD player or Blu-ray? It could be a player or tv setting or connection problem. Does the tv have usb? If so use mp4 - better quality. Quote
jackie2249 Posted July 26, 2018 Author Report Posted July 26, 2018 Hi the dvd player ispart of the Tv. Ialso tried making the mp4 and trying it in the play station but it says unsupported. Quote
jackie2249 Posted July 26, 2018 Author Report Posted July 26, 2018 Can you tell my why when I go to burn I get that invalid floating point operation error message? Could that have something to do with it. Quote
davegee Posted July 26, 2018 Report Posted July 26, 2018 Try burning an ISO instead of the DVD. Then use 3rd party software to burn the ISO to the DVD. However it sounds like your TV with built in DVD Player does not support the disc made by PTE. How old is the TV?? DG Quote
jackie2249 Posted July 26, 2018 Author Report Posted July 26, 2018 I have had the TV less than a year. I dont know what an Iso is. I made the SLide show and then Created an exe file (works Fine) but when I create a DVD and it goes to burn thats when I get the invalid FLoating point operation Quote Quote

Hi, Please try the following: in the Publish menu choose DVD video > in VideoBuilder click the Project Options > change Audio Format from "MPEG Audio" to "LPCM". Let me know about a result. 5 hours ago, jackie2249 said: Also I am receiving floating point errors even though I have to custom transitions. Its a small show maybe 55 files and 325 MB. HELP! Try to create ISO image with your disc instead of burning of a DVD in VideoBuilder. Thse options are located on the last page of VideoBuilder before you start video encoding / DVD burning. Then you can burn ISO image to a DVD media in Windows Explorer, or use ImgBurn free utility: www.imgburn.com Quote

davegee Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 You have burned the iso as a data file (probably). You need software which will burn an iso file. Ashampoo does it. Try searching for free software to burn iso files. Quote
jackie2249 Posted August 13, 2018 Author Report Posted August 13, 2018 I thought the whole point of his program was too easily burn slideshows is my computer not compatible or should I just get a refund? This is very fustrating. Quote
davegee Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 Have you tried creating a new project with just a few jpegs and a single mp3? Can you upload your project as a Backup In Zip and provide a link? Someone here will check your project and try to burn it to see if it is something to do with your project or possibly your pc. It could easily be one of your files. DG Quote
nobeefstu Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 jackie, Quote Hi Im not a super techinical person but I burned the Iso file to a disc in windows explorer. Your ISO file can be directly burned to a DVD Disc in the video format using the feature within PTE/Video Builder. Open Video Builder and select Burn ISO from the File Menu. davegee Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 ..... And the fact that that you were able to create the iso "sort of" points to it being a problem with your system and not with pte software (not 100% certain though). DG Quote
