Bert Posted August 18, 2018 Report Posted August 18, 2018 When putting text in an image, I don't always know what font I want. I am going down from the top of the font list to find a font, click on the name and can see in the image what it looks like. When I don't like this font I click on the little triangle next to the font name and the font list shows again. The problem is that the list always starts at the top again and not at the font you last used. So you have to go down the list again to reach the fonts you have not tried yet. With a long list of different font names, this is very tedious. Would it be possible in the NEW version of PTE, when you want to try another font again, and click the little triangle, that you start where you left off with the last font you used? So you don't have to scroll down the whole font list again all the time. Quote
JudyKay Posted August 18, 2018 Report Posted August 18, 2018 Or have a brief list of recently used fonts at the top. Quote

chanfi22 Posted August 19, 2018 Report Posted August 19, 2018 Hello +1 for this interesting improvement Quote
Igor Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 Bert, Try the following approach: 1. Click to a font list button. A list of fonts should appear on the screen. 2. Then press Up and Down arrow keys many times. You will immediately see a real result for your text object. Also you can use PgUp/PgDown/Home/End keys for a fast navigation in the list of fonts. 3. When you find a necessary font, press Enter key to cofirm the choice and close the list of fonts. Quote
jt49 Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 It would be fine to see this feature in the Online Help Quote
Bert Posted August 20, 2018 Author Report Posted August 20, 2018 Igor, It seems that after "your" step 3, and the list of fonts is closed, if you don't like the font you chose, and you still want to see other fonts on the list, you have to press the Up or Down arrow to start the list by the last font. That is not very intuitive and I think most people will use the little triangle to see the font list again. And then it starts at the top again. Quote

If you choosed a font and closed the list then if you click to a font box again press Up/Down arrow keys it continues to navigate to a next/previous fonts from a previous position. Not from beginning. Quote
