Lin Evans Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 Last one for a while. I can't see out of my right eye - I need some surgery to remove a small growth under my eyelid which is a constant irritating and painful and causing my eye to water. I can't get a doctor's appointment for a few weeks so I'll give it a break... Just a novel idea here... Lin Quote
JRR Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 well done Lin Hope you get your eye fixed sooner than later Quote

David Porter Posted December 20, 2018 Report Posted December 20, 2018 A lovely show and as always expertly done. The eye might not be working so well but the grey matter is certainly in tact. Christmas wishes and I hope you have a healthier New Year. Mickp Quote
Tomcatred55 Posted December 26, 2018 Report Posted December 26, 2018 Great idea, I have done something similar myself but without the brush (I'm not that clever) but I do wonder why the painting is so small in the frame. It is nice to have the background and snow falling but the painting is the main subject. Quote
Lin Evans Posted December 26, 2018 Author Report Posted December 26, 2018 Hi Folks, Thanks! Resting the eye... Bizz1963 - I have posted a number of examples of full-screen painting and I have made available styles to allow that. There is much more going on in this than just the painting on the easel in this sample. The size of the easel canvas is proportionate to the overall background and not intended to be larger. It is very easy to make the painting larger, but that wasn't my intent. Best regards, Lin Quote
Tomcatred55 Posted December 26, 2018 Report Posted December 26, 2018 Sorry Lin didn't mean to tell you what to do with your own AV just offering my own opinion. Quote
Lin Evans Posted December 26, 2018 Author Report Posted December 26, 2018 Not a problem Bizz - there are may ways to present this type effect and different artistic interpretations. You might want to read my latest post to get some insight on different ways to approach this... Jean-Cyprien Posted December 27, 2018 Report Posted December 27, 2018 Very well done Lin ! JPD must rejoice to see all those paintings from where he is now. Next time, the dog (wolf ?) will jump outside the frame to come for a caress !! Best regards Jean-Cyprien Quote
Lin Evans Posted December 27, 2018 Author Report Posted December 27, 2018 Thanks Jean-Cyprien! Fun project. Yes, JPD sure started something - I wish he had more time here but I'm sure he's enjoying seeing us slowly learn what he discovered years, and years ago... I'll work on that concept of the wolf jumping out of the frame !!! LOL Best regards, Lin Quote
