Slideshow duration

Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to p2e so forgive me if my question is redundant. I have tried to find the answer but so far no luck.

Is there any way to determine the length or duration of a slideshow that shows the entire (image + transition) time. I've seen the obvious comments about stopwatches and other external time keeping. Is there a utility within p2e that exists for this purpose.

This would really be helpful in letting me determine the length of the music file I will need.

In my own projects, I time the slides and transitions with a stopwatch. Then using Adobe Audition (but Audacity would work as well) to tailor the sound file or files, to the exact length of the slide duration. I have to work a bit to get the sound to end exactly at the end of the last slide time, for which I use a black slide, but it works fine.
