Tomcatred55 Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 Sorry if there already is a simple way of undoing an action that you find didn't work but an "undo" or "back" button who be useful. Quote

Tomcatred55 Posted January 6, 2019 Author Report Posted January 6, 2019 Just testing and you both passed, well done lol Quote
Barry Beckham Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 Ctrl+Z is a universal key to Undo in practically all software, including Photoshop Quote
Tomcatred55 Posted January 6, 2019 Author Report Posted January 6, 2019 Ctrl+c Ctrl+v is about the only the only keyboard shortcut I know (for "copy" "paste" if course). I'll try to remember Ctrl+z, although not necessarily in Photoshop as very action is listed in the "history" box and you can jump back a large number of actions. Quote
wideangle Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 Whenever you use any drop down menus just have a glance down the right-hand of the column to see many keyboard shortcuts identified. This is a common feature of lots of programs. Very soon you begin to remember them and use them. Regards wideangle Quote
jkb Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 CTRL+A to select All is another very useful shortcut, especially in O&A when you want to show multiple timelines. Also CTRL+S to Save, but this doesn't work from O&A. Jill Quote

In parallel to Ctrl+Z, if you've done one (or more) too many steps backwards, you could also learn & remember Ctrl+Y which will go forward in the history of last changes, so as to undo the undo (i.e. Redo)! Another "universal" command. Quote
Igor Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 Useful tip for the Objects and animation editor: "Undo All Changes" / "Redo All Changed" commands in the popup menu of Tools button. "Undo All Changes" reverts all changes which you did in current session of the Objects and animation editor. Quote
jmG-06100 Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 Thanks, Igor, for this tip; I had never noticed the "TOOL" button in O& A until now. Now I know... Quote
