What's new in v4.30 beta #6:

+ You can go to a next or to a previous slide keeping Pause mode

in the synchronized slide-shows.

+ Each view (Classical, Horizontal and Vertical) keeps visual settings.

+ "Option" of the main menu is renamed to "View".

+ Improvements in the "Customize synchronization" window:

> The window can be resized;

> Transition point to the last slide is shown in more gray color.

+ Various improvements.

+ Rename hotkeys are changed to Ctrl+F and Alt+F.

* Fixed several bugs.

p.s. I would very grateful if you could in depth test how works the new pause mode in synchronized slide-shows.

I have just downloaded beta#6 and welcome the changes but I am having problems with the project options. when I go to effects or messages and try to use the scroll down bars he program locks up. I am using win2000 any ideas?

It's a very strange problem. Did you seen same problem with previous betas? Please check up again with v4.20 and with earlier betas of v4.30.

Igor. no have not had problem with any other v of PTE all works great just beta#6.

event tried it on another computor running win 2000 but still locks up

Please can I ask you to download and check up several beta versions of v4.30? http://www.wnsoft.com/beta/Test_v430.zip

Unpack it into some new folder and then run every .exe file and let me know how scrolling will work in the Project options.

It will vastly help us.

I guess my check is not significant... but on my two machines (Win 2000) there is no difference between the "official" beta #6 and these 4 test betas. All work correctly.

All versions work OK for me, too, both in Win XP,and Win 2000.

Hello, how can I rename the file-name? If I press Strg-F or Alt-F the thumbnail rotates.

I have about a 4 or 5 sec delay

from when I click on a slide

and it shows the preview in the window.

If I click to preview slide it will go

full screen and have the correct image.

Is this a normal preview.

or might I have something going

on with my computer.

This is not normal - sounds like either the images are too big or loaded with too many objects, or else you have an abnormally slow pc. What are the "vital statistics" for your system? When I click on the image for a full-screen preview, the image appears almost instantaneously.

Pte could be having trouble finding the images, which could also indicate the need to defrag the HD.

Yes Al it was just my computer.

I should have restarted my computer.

I just had installed the Beta 6 when I

noticed the problem and thought maybe it

was causing my problem.

It's all running right now.

You are really right! I've reproduced this problem on my PC. It happens when PTE load thumbnails of large photos and you click on a slide/file to see preview. We've optimized this moment and now it should works without such delay. Please try newest beta #7 which I'll upload within a hour.
