Barry Beckham Posted September 7, 2019 Report Posted September 7, 2019 I would like to be able to edit a slide style after it was made like we now can with Themes. I appreciate that we can make a copy and edit that, but you can't easily get to the author or comment section. Quote
Igor Posted September 7, 2019 Report Posted September 7, 2019 Barry, It's already possible in PTE 9 and new PTE 10. If you save an original project for each created Slide style (1 project for 1 style), you can open this project later and call Create Slide Style command. PTE will show earlier used Author name and Comment for this Style. Also style's Name and Category also will be restored. You just need to click "Create" button and confirm to update existing slide style. If you change a name of Slide Style or Category, PTE will create a new Slide style. If you keep same Name and Category, PTE overwrites existing slide style. Don't forget to Save this project again to keep all recent changes when you created or updated the slide style. Probably it's my omission that we didn't described it clearly. P.S. I moved your topic to the General Discussions. Quote
Barry Beckham Posted September 8, 2019 Author Report Posted September 8, 2019 I wasn't aware of that and have rarely saved a project for one slide style, but thinking about it, it's probably good practice to do that. Thanks for the tip. It will make a nice short video too at some stage Quote
Igor Posted September 8, 2019 Report Posted September 8, 2019 Barry, In future version we think to implement direct editing of a Slide style in the storage (like you work with Custom transitions). Quote
