jt49 Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 Here are 2 suggestions for the Audio Tab in the Project Options: 1. Each audio clip has its slider for Volume. I would like it if the slider would allow to set values beyond 100% (perhaps up to 200). 2. I would like to see a global slider for the overall soundtrack's volume (from 0 up to 200%). I just wanted to set the overall volume from 100% to 140%, so I had to run through all clips and change the value for the volume from 100 to 140 manually Quote
denisb Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 I agree for the second point: set the global volume of the slideshow For the first point, as I think you know, we can put the volume of each clip from 0 to 200% with the keyboard, so it's less important. I would prefer a dB indication. Quote
jkb Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 You can have DB, mine is set to that. But only on the actual Timeline, not in project Options Audio Tab See Settings/Preferences/TimelineSound Volume and change to Decibels instead of Percentage What would be more useful is a VU meter so we can easily see if a sound is clipping Jill Quote
denisb Posted November 9, 2019 Report Posted November 9, 2019 I have also dB in the timeline, but I want dB to in the project option if I choose dB in preferences I would like a VU meter. Actually, I use Audacity as a VU meter. Quote
