Random transitions?

Having chosen in the project options a few transitions, both standard and advanced I find that in the preview just one transition seems to be in order. What's worse it seems to be the basic transition dissolve. Call me naive but I really thought by selecting a certain number of transitions those would work preferably in an random order. The screenshot shows what I selected by way of trial.

I think that random transitions apply for new slides only.

Add slides after choosing the transitions.

In the preview of the Project Options, you only see the transition that has been highlighted. If you click OK and run the show you will see all selected transitions in random order.
