LumenLux Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Good job Kurt. Have you perfected the landing?Just for fun - how many individual frames? Quote
boxig Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I always like good humor. As a matter of fact this is the natural way to fly and airplane builders should check this show seriously. Kurt, you must register this as a patent or the airplane industry will steal this from you. Quote
RudiRe Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Kurt S,that's really funny. How many single images did it take you to make it?What would be interesting to see, to assemble the same images with an animated gif program like Banner Maker Pro and to compare the file size afterwards. Quote
Guest guru Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Kurt, the next time I wish to see how birds really fly... Quote
Kurt S Posted January 18, 2003 Author Report Posted January 18, 2003 This one was fun to make. It comes from an old avi I got back around 1996. I'm not sure how the original was rendered but in contained about 97 frames. Many of the frames were duplicates (I beleive it was every third frame). Once I took out the extra frames, I was able to trim it down to 43 frames for the show. The landing was a bit tricky but I hear Boing is working on a solution. Anyway, I'm glad you all liked it, If anyone is interested in recieveng the original avi or the frames I used to create the presentation, let me know and I'll send them to you.Guru, I believe birds use tiny little jet-packs to fly but how they refuel them is a mystery to me.
