Beemer
I use a free account at box.com for uploading audio and images and these can be previewed by those to whom I email a link. I thought I would be able to upload my PTE AV Studio MP4 files and that I could similarly give links to others. Not so it seems, as my account does not allow anyone to preview or download a MP4 or any video file. Would anyone else using box.com confirm if my understanding is correct? jmG-06100
Hi Ian I have no experience with BOX.COM, but can advise using the free service of www.grosfichiers.ch (4 GB max) or www.WeTransfer.com (2 GB max), provided the short retention period (1 or 2 weeks) is long enough to allow downloading by your correpondants. Beemer
Thanks for the link to grosfichers. I'm also trying to use my NAS to allow those with access rights to preview or/and download MP4. Ian
goddi
I had a very large file to transfer and I found 'myairbridge'. I think it has a max of 20Gbs. (free) https://www.myairbridge.com/en/#!/ Gary

jmG-06100
Ian, just another idea. When I need to send *.EXE files, I often have to rename the file as a gentle *.TXT file to fool the mail system. Once received, the *.TXT file has to be renamed to what it actually was with the original filename extension. You probably could do the same with your *.MP4 files, as long as there is not a stringent file size limitation with BOX. Worth a try?
