Clare
Hi Can anyone point me to some good training on how to understand the audio tool timings, fades etc? Thanks
Johnwnjr
If you go to On Line help files there are extensive explanations and near the top is "Handling Audio Files". I am sure if you have a specific question it will be answered.

Clare
just checked out the llink. It is fine if you have the pro version where audio can be easily adjusted using the orange line. However, if you are have the studio version, as I currently do, is there a tutorial to explain how to adjust fading and timing, as I do not understand the various options. Thank you. davegee
You set the Fade In and Out Times in Project Options - Fade In + Fade Out. If you want a cross-fade you follow the procedure in the illustration above. Add two audio files (same track) and drag one over the other. https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/22912-missing-orange-line-in-audio-timeline/?tab=comments#comment-147158 It is MUCH easier in the Pro Version.
